Youssou Pape scored to give Senegal's Jaraaf a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso's Salitas in Porto-Novo on Monday, and first place in Group C of the CAF Confederation Cup. Pape struck after 10 minutes in a fourth-round match moved from Ouagadougou to the Benin capital because the stadium Salitas use no longer meets international standards. Jaraaf have seven points, record three-time Confederation Cup winners CS Sfaxien six, fellow Tunisians Etoile Sahel five and Salitas three with two matchdays remaining. If Jaraaf win their next fixture, at home to Etoile on April 21, they will become the first club from the west African nation to reach the quarter-finals. After taking only one point from the first two matchdays, the Dakar outfit have surged to the top of the table thanks to home and away victories over Salitas within eight days.
