An Italian plane took off from eastern DR Congo on Tuesday, taking home the bodies of Italy's ambassador and his guard, who were killed in an ambush, AFP reporters saw. A military Boeing 767 took off at 4.20 pm (1420 GMT) from Goma airport after the two coffins were placed on board. Ambassador Luca Attanasio and bodyguard Vittorio Iacovacci, as well as a Congolese driver who has not been identified, were killed on Monday while they were on a field trip north of Goma with the UN's World Food Programme (WFP). ak-ah/mbb/blb/ri/tgb
