Barcelona's Pedri became Spain's youngest ever debutant at a European Championship after he was picked to start their Group E opener against Sweden on Monday. Pedri, aged 18 years, six months and 18 days, was selected in the midfield trio by Spanish coach Luis Enrique, alongside Manchester City's Rodri and Koke of Atletico Madrid. Aymeric Laporte partnered Pau Torres in central defence while Gerard Moreno was left on the bench, despite his superb form last season for Villarreal. Sweden started with Real Sociedad's 21-year-old Alexander Isak up front on the back of his 17 goals in La Liga last term. Isak partners the 34-year-old Marcus Berg in the Swedish attack.
