A revised cycling calendar built around the rescheduled Tour de France was unveiled by International Cycling Union president David Lappartient on Tuesday. Cycling was first disrupted by the coronavirus in February when the UAE Tour was scrapped mid-race after two mechanics tested positive. The sport's most prestigious event, the Tour de France, has been pushed back two months to August 29-September 20, a move revealed three weeks ago. But on Tuesday after consultations with race organisers, teams and riders' unions a new series of dates was revealed as authorities tentatively try to end the lockdown.
