Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Sunday became the latest political figure to test positive for the new coronavirus. Szijjarto, currently on an official trip to Asia, tested positive for Covid-19 after arriving in Thailand from Cambodia, a foreign ministry spokesman told the Hungarian news agency MTI. The 42-year-old is in hospital in Bangkok as required by local pandemic rules, said Mate Paczolay. Szijjarto is symptom-free, however, and would enter quarantine on his return from Asia, said the spokesman. Szijjarto tested negative before his departure to Asia, said Paczolay. Last month Hungarian Justice Minister Judit Varga said that she had tested positive for the virus./adp pmu/jsk/adp
