US central bankers are slightly more optimistic about economic growth prospects over the next two years and see an improving employment picture, the Federal Reserve said Wednesday. Member of the policy-setting Federal Open Markets Committee (FOMC) see growth of 4.2 percent in 2021 and 3.2 percent in 2021, two-tenths better than the September forecast. And the consensus forecasts show the unemployment rate falling to 5.0 percent next year and 4.2 percent the following year. hs/cs
