The party of former Central African Republic president Francois Bozize on Sunday denied it was attempting to stage a coup after the government accuses it of wanting to carry out a putsch by "marching with his men" on the capital one week before elections. "We categorically deny that Bozize is at the origin of anything," Christian Guenebem, spokesman for the former leader's KNK party, told AFP. "The government has always wanted to undermine the physical and political integrity of Bozize." cmt/pma/spm
