The women's World Cup downhill, which was cancelled at Rosa Khutor in Sochi last weekend due to heavy snow falls, has been rescheduled and switched to Crans Montana in Switzerland on February 21, officials said Wednesday. Last Thursday night more than 40 centimetres (15.7 inches) of fresh snow fell on the Rosa Khutor slopes, meaning no training on the Friday for the high-speed event could take place. The FIS decided that without training it would cancel the event for a second straight year at the scene of the 2014 Winter Olympics. av/lab/dmc/dj
