Europe's leading stock markets closed with losses of more than 3.0 percent on Thursday after being hammered by mounting concerns over the spreading coronavirus outbreak. At the close of trade, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was down by 3.5 percent at 6,796.30 points, the Paris CAC 40 shed 3.32 percent to 5,495.60 and Frankfurt's DAX 30 slid 3.19 percent to 12,367.46 compared with the previous day. bur-wai/spm
