Spain's top criminal court on Friday sentenced a a former Salvadoran colonel to 133 years in prison for murdering five Spanish Jesuit priests in 1989 during the central American nation's civil war. The National Court found Inocente Orlando Montano Morales guilty of the killings which took place in November 1989 when the religious order was acting as an intermediary between the government and FMLN guerrillas during efforts to start peace talks. hmw/mg/txw
