AFP on Monday obtained a highly-anticipated report by a mission of independent experts convened by the World Health Organization detailing the origins of Covid-19, concluding it was very likely that the coronavirus first passed to humans from a bat through an intermediary animal. The report follows a mission by the experts to Wuhan in January 2021, and was drafted with the team's Chinese counterparts.
