Lawyers for Sandy Hook families say Remington, the manufacturer of the AR-15-style rifle used in the 2012 school shooting, included in its documents tens of thousands of irrelevant images — some of which were random cartoons.
Review:
There is no such thing as an "AR-15 style rifle." AR-15 is a very specific brand and model of rifle. It's either an AR-15, of it's not. Calling something "AR-15 style" is kind of like saying a Hyundai is a "Nissan style car."

In response to the previous note regarding the term "AR-15 style rifle," the term has entered the vernacular and is found on many websites, including those of firearm manufacturers, enthusiast media, and trade groups. The term is not confusing or misleading.
