A major study of Ivermectin has shown it has "no effect whatsoever" on the treatment of COVID-19. The original July 2021 report supporting the drug as a potential treatment has been retracted by authors due to fraudulent data.
Review:
Ivermectin is a large animal dewormer and anti-parasite treatment used on horses, cows, goats and other mammals. It does not treat viruses which all credible scientists agree COVID is. Its use on humans is not approved. FDA warns against human use.
