Misleading to claim voter suppression is an objective of Manchin or GOP when voting down HR1 which has many voting security issues. It is a self serving assumption of worst possible motives to claim voter suppression. These assumptions are used by AOC for political gain.

Just thinking about how after this photo ran Wall Street Journal columnists spent more time criticizing me for not smiling enough than asking Manchin precisely what areas of “common ground” he had in mind when he stood up for the GOP. Turns out voter suppression was one of them!
