Nowhere in the Bible does it say being gay is a sin. The often-cited Sodom and Gomorrah story doesn't refer to homosexuality as the problem. It refers to rape as the problem. But this deliberate misinterpretation has been weaponized for centuries to institutionalize LGBTQ hate.
