Reminder: the last administration got two hostages, Xiyue Wang & Michael White, out of Iran with zero ransom, zero sanctions relief, and zero change in hostage policy. Any payment for hostages will go to support the IRGC and will guarantee more innocent Americans are taken.
Review:
This tweet is misleading. The 2 American hostages held by Iran were released in exchange for 2 prisoners in the United States. This was not a "zero" cost return of American hostages.
