Lends credence to the idea that the virus is an escapee from Wuhan virology labs. Not necessarily the conspiracy theory that it's a bioweapon but the idea that it's an experiment gone wrong. Might not even be a chimera – just a regular bat virus they were experimenting with. 🤷‍♂️
