Let me be clear: there's no serious comparison between voting laws in Colorado and Georgia. Colorado is a vote-by-mail state — we send every registered voter a ballot. We also have same day voter registration. Oh, and you can hand out water in line.
Review:
In order to mail in vote in Colorado you have to have a state DL or ID in order to register. Once you register you?re in the system and no longer need an ID in future elections. This is huge. Rep crow left that out. Jim Crow narrative is harmful and failed!
Review:
Poll workers in Georgia can hand out water to those in line. The Georgia law bans political actors from handing out gifts to sway voters.
Review:
Colorado law prohibits the distribution of food or water to voters within 100 feet of a polling place or by volunteers wearing political markings (Georgia law prohibits it within 150 feet).
